Linking, archive sites, release sites, et cetera
As we say all over:
“Since we obviously provide a wide array of links and because we would like people exposed to our site, we ask that you link to our post/blog rather than to the individual downloads or re-uploads of them. (we are not talking about archive sites and online readers, in which case we encourage people to add our releases to them). Tell us if you want us to use any other uploaders or anything.”
If you can’t link back to us because the site you are putting our release on doesn’t allow for it, don’t worry and just add it. This goes for online readers, archive site, release sites, whatever. Of course you should try your best to link, but if you can’t, you can’t, so don’t worry about it.
When we say not link to individual download links or re-uploads, we are talking about linking to our individual uploads on [mediafire/megaupload/rapidshare/etc] rather than to our post with said links in it; that or re-uploading it to [mediafire/megaupload/rapidshare/etc] yourself and linking that.
A general rule of thumb is as said before, ‘if you can’t help but not link to us, then don’t worry about it‘. Our goal here is to spread it as much as possible and if we can get a link back great, if not, no big deal.
