Anyways, we’re almost done with the Vagabond 300 translation. No word on Dante’s Divine Comedy, but we’re hoping to get some more done with it.

I laugh SO FUCKING HARD at the credits page. I think Arbys is a fandom meme now. Yay for me finally getting fresh new Jesus, and it looks like we’re gonna be dealing with pedo Jesus now. ;D

Super duper special thank you cookie for mentioning us, though Jesus doesn’t really have battle of biblical proportions. XD (Although he DOES shove a grande in a dude’s eye…which was pretty awesome.)

And what’s wrong w/ wanting to protect kids? That doesn’t make him pedo. Having said that, I wonder how the two kids are doing (the two kids who were rescued by Jesus/Mamoru).

You know, it made think when some other groups released Jesus/Shield of Aegis chapters…

Who do you think will win if Mamoru, Jesus, and Karito were pitted against each other? And yes, I know they’re all high level, so it would depend on circumstances, but I’m asking in general situation (whatever that may be), who do you think is the strongest?

As you said, it would depend. In the open field, Jesus, hands down, since neither Mamoru nor Aegis can block rapid fire bullets (and obviously, grenades). And apparently, Aegis cannot block high powered armor piercing rounds either (it was proven in Aegis v01).

It seems Jesus would have the most advantage, given that he’s a firearms expert, while Karito and Mamoru are close range experts only. However, in terms of brute strength, Jesus is the weakest.

  Jesus is still pretty strong when it comes to a fist fight though, I saw him crack as pair of binoculars. But then again, Tate threw a motorcycle ACROSS A WAREHOUSE. He wins.

    There’s something that we’re forgetting here: even though Mamoru’s and Tate’s primary weapons are close-range, they have both been trained in the use of firearms. Now for obvious reasons, Mamoru wouldn’t find access to one much of an advantage — although he could lay down covering fire, I guess — but Tate might.

What a cute chapter. Haruka loves Mamoru so much (sort of), but probably in different way than romantic, for at least this chapter (the way she responded seems like how an older sibling/parent/guardian holds the said person when she found out he had a tough past, like how Asuna always hugs Negi in MSN).

I wonder if there was some sort of agreement between UDDUP mangaka and Jesus/Aegis mangaka to use each other’s manga as part of their own story.

Having said that, Anna’s much cuter in UDDUP than in Aegis (Anna Riddle is that girl in the bar who gives riddles to potential clients, and thus sends out Aegis).

And this chapter was made of pure squee-age. I loved when Haruka got back and ignored everyone as she went up to hug Mamoru. It was such a tender/sweet/cute moment between them. I liked how Double S isolated that panel for them. Ah, my MamoruxHaruka shippiness is tingling!

And Jesus returns! Still hot and still crazy. I can't wait to see him interact with Haruka and Mamoru in the next chapter. I wonder what his true agenda is after meeting with Wiseman. Hm…

And..and…my poor Mamo-chan. -Hiccups.- I felt so bad for him after the flashback. Hell, if I was Haruka, I'd hug him too. He needed it.

Hey, wait a second… Isn’t Jesus a high school teacher? (This was confirmed in Jesus manga) But Haruka is only a middle school student (1st or 2nd year). How’s she gonna manage that? I know she’s smart and all, but suddenly being put in high school probably will make things a bit difficult for her (maybe).

On that note, Haruka is probably being placed in that school because Network probably thought that if something were to happen, Jesus would be there to deal w/ it, whether he likes it or not (we know that Jesus would risk his life to save the innocents, despite that he’s a hitman – aka “ally of justice” like Mamoru). Network’s probably taking advantage of his personality.

For the page where Haruka is hugging Mamoru, someone should color it. I think that would be one of the better pics for UDDUP. Now, I can do basic photoshop, but when I tried coloring it, it came out weird, since I don’t know where the shadow goes and all that stuff (I colored hair yellow, cloth w/ red, etc, but don’t know where to do the shadows and stuff).
