   It’s true that few knives are no match against Mamoru, but remembrer, he has quite a few baggage that he needs to protect (that black teammate, the kidnapped children whom Mamoru is unaware of). In addition, we know that he loses eyes in this “flashback.” And from the first chapter, I can guess that he was unable to protect that girl (dunno about the boy).

WHERE?! D: i have the slight horror feeling this will turn into another naruto-ish manga. aka the NEVERENDING MANGA.

       Our spam catcher gets a lot of spam that’s much worse than that. Have you ever seen 100 links to sites selling male enhancement in a single comment? Consider yourself lucky if you can say no.

       Also, protip: don’t say you’re spamming, even if you are.

       Actually, most spammers AREN’T people; they’re computer programs. And the people who write those computer programs are just doing it to get money, they couldn’t care less.

       Unless Double-S just REALLY didn’t do the research, those aren’t knife scars on Mamoru’s face.

             you never know. but it makes as much sense as mamoru having fancy high tech sunglasses to see when he could just get an eye transplant, i mean, think of how well connected the elements network is!
             did you notice the spikes on the knife handles of those ninja guys?. it would make the same sort of cut across mamorus face. just sayin’

                To me, those scars have always looked like chemical burns, and scar patterns are one of my areas of interest; I’m 87% certain that’s where they’re from, with the other 12.5% being another kind of burn, and 0.5% something I haven’t thought of. Look up pictures of acid scarring, or burn scarring. There’s the same kind of vaguely flower-like pattern, that you wouldn’t get from a slashing or tearing injury.

                I think it might simply be that the Network had connections with a genius engineer, and didn’t have connections with a genius eye surgeon. Or to put it in meta-turns, the sunglasses are more awesome.

                      You’re not alone; I find the idea kind of hot as well. Which just goes to show that people who write fanfiction tend to have issues. (Ah yes, don’t think I haven’t recognized you from ffnet. KEEP WORKING ON THAT STORY!)

                         Actually a friend of mine and me have been going over kinky ideas for her story, Thorny Path. I think at one point we had Mamoru fighting terrorists naked and fresh out of shower. 8D

                         I’m itching for the new chapter to come out, I wish it’d hurry up. ;-;
