Air Gear – c.231

Well, it’s not that battle I was hoping for, but it seems to be easier to follow than the previous chapters. Again, I would like to note, especially with regards to the last chapter, that Oh!Great doesn’t write that well. We will try to make it make sense, but we are not going to do the writing for him. That said, we will, as we did with this chapter, write a summary on the credits page.

NOTE: Since we obviously provide a wide array of links and because we would like people exposed to our site, we ask that you link to our post/blog rather than to the individual downloads or re-uploads of them. (we are not talking about archive sites and online readers, in which case we encourage people to add our releases to them)

Trivial Edit (that take up too much space for one word): I should note that when the TV head guy is talking about the usefulness of HC’s speed abilities on page 16 at the bottom, he uses a slang conjugation that can be taken as either the negative or a sentence ending particle (a very, very common one, though be it the less common extended form) expressing emphasis or expecting agreement. We took it as emphasis, but in retrospect negative was more likely correct. So in effect he could be saying either “useless/not useful” or at the end something like “yeah/right” (not translated for fluidity reason). The ending particle, for some characters, can be as common as at the end of nearly every sentence and that guy is the type of character to use it. It’s tough to make judgment calls like that when Oh!great could have meant either since his brain obviously works in strange ways. I think that this time we over looked it mainly because it was that it made sense as a positive (just not quite as much) and there were other more confusing parts to focus on reworking. In short, the “useful” at the bottom of page 16 is probably more accuratly “useless”.  Sorry for any confusion it may have caused and damn ambitious wording!

(that was sort of long for a one word change, wasn’t it? I like to be thorough though! >_>)
